Child and Family Development Specialist

Mentor Behavioral Health provides early intervention, applied behavior analysis (ABA) and behavioral health services to children, individuals and families. As a Behavioral Clinician, you will work with supervisors to develop and implement behavioral plans, provide therapy, and support individuals and their families.
Responsibilities- Develop clinical hypotheses to design and develop treatment methodologies that align with individual needs.
- Work collaboratively with team members to implement and maintain behavioral change.
- Ensure the use of least restrictive treatment guidelines in behavioral interventions and techniques.
- Provide coaching and support to individuals, family members and team members to promote effective management, communication and social skills.
- Offer behavioral interventions in home, community or job settings on an individual or group basis.
- Complete admission and discharge planning as needed.
- Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans within required timeframes.
- Provide oversight for implementation of treatment plans.
- Collect and analyze data to track objectives, strategies and results.
- Consult with community-based resources such as state agencies, schools, medical professionals and other mental health specialists as necessary.
- Participate in family education and training as required.
- Collaborate with the trans-disciplinary team to ensure coordinated care efforts.
- Ensure timely completion of evaluation, progress and discharge reports.
- Submit documentation for individuals served in a timely manner.
- Master's degree in psychology or related field.
- 1 year experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Physical RequirementsThis is a light work role requiring occasional exertion of up to 20 pounds of force, frequent exertion of up to 10 pounds of force and negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
