Job Title: Database Operations SpecialistWe are seeking a highly skilled Database Operations Specialist to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining databases to ensure high availability and performance.Key Responsibilities:
  1. Designing and implementing database solutions that meet the needs of our clients
  2. Managing database backups, replication, recovery, and failover strategies
  3. Monitoring database performance and performing tuning for optimization
  4. Developing and maintaining database security policies and procedures
  5. Collaborating with development and data engineering teams to design and review database schemas and queries
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Database Administrator with SQL Server and MySQL in production environments
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services, including RDS, EC2, S3, and IAM
  • Proficiency in DevOps practices, including CI/CD, automation, and containerization (Docker/ECS is a plus)
  • Proficient in scripting (e.g., Python, Bash, or PowerShell)
  • Familiarity with database tools like SSMS, MySQL Workbench, or equivalent
  • Understanding of database compliance and regulatory requirements
