Job Overview

The Paralegal will play a pivotal role in supporting attorneys by overseeing case files, drafting legal documents, coordinating with clients, and ensuring that cases progress efficiently through all stages of litigation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Draft, review, and prepare legal documents including pleadings, discovery requests, and correspondence.
  • Manage and organize case files, ensuring all documentation is complete, accurate, and up-to-date.
  • Conduct thorough research and summarize findings to assist attorneys in case preparation.
  • Coordinate with clients, medical providers, and insurance companies regarding case-related matters.
  • Assist attorneys in trial preparation, including organizing exhibits, witness lists, and trial binders.
  • Prepare settlement demands, medical chronologies, and other case-related summaries.
  • File documents with courts and manage deadlines to ensure compliance with legal procedures.
  • Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates and gather necessary information.
  • Provide administrative support as needed, including scheduling, calendaring, and data entry.
Essential Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience as a Paralegal, with a strong background in personal injury law.
  • Prior experience working with U.S. law firms is required.
  • Strong knowledge of legal procedures, court filing requirements, and litigation processes.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management software.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional, client-focused approach.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
