Litigation Paralegal Role Overview
The Litigation Paralegal will play a pivotal role in overseeing the operational aspects of litigation cases, supporting the firm's litigation department by managing logistics and ensuring compliance with legal procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage litigation calendars, deadlines, and court filings
- Organize and maintain case files, documents, and evidence in accordance with firm policies
- Assist in drafting and preparing legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery requests
- Facilitate communication and coordination between attorneys, clients, and external parties
- Conduct legal research on case laws, statutes, and regulations relevant to ongoing litigation matters
- Monitor case timelines and ensure timely completion of legal tasks
- Assist in trial preparation and provide support during hearings and trials
- Implement and improve operational processes to optimize efficiency and effectiveness in litigation support
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a paralegal or similar role within a law firm
- Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in legal research, document management, and case management software
- Knowledge of litigation procedures, legal terminology, and court rules
- Spanish and English Fluency
