Windfarm Controller Job Opportunity

  • As a Windfarm Controller, you will be responsible for commissioning and testing wind farm controllers, ensuring they meet the required standards and specifications.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Commissioning and testing of wind farm controllers
  • Working closely with clients' experts to understand project requirements and develop solutions
  • Gaining experience in running and closing windfarm controller projects
  • Supporting negotiations with customers, subcontractors, and suppliers
  • Improving processes within the Windfarm Control Operations department
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • University degree in Electrical Engineering, Technology, Electronics, IT, telecommunications or other equivalent technical education
  • Broad knowledge of wind farm controller tools and processes
  • Proficiency in Modbus TCP, IEC 61850, OPC UA, DNP3, Grid operator interfaces, and customer interfaces
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and client management skills
  • Fluency in English; Spanish and other languages are an added value
