Electrician - Transformer Design Specialist

This role is part of our South America R&D Center, focused on continuous research and development activities related to transformers. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading R&D project execution, ensuring performance, timelines, and costs are within expectations.
Main Responsibilities:- Propose innovative electrical design solutions for distribution transformers to meet challenging technical requirements of new markets.
- Design and supervise the manufacturing and testing of prototypes.
- Lead the development of projects related to the electrical performance of distribution transformers.
- Document project progress, draw conclusions, and develop design rules based on validated solutions.
- Master's degree or currently pursuing a master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, with a focus on power machinery.
- Solid knowledge in Power transformers and Electromagnetism.
- Preferred tools and software: Creo, COMSOL, and Maxwell.
- Background in the energy sector or academic research is desirable.
- Language: English (Advanced).
- Availability: Willingness to travel occasionally.
