About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Fraud Investigation Expert to join our team at SumUp. As a key member of our law enforcement processes team, you'll have the opportunity to create and implement our fraud investigation processes from scratch.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive fraud investigation process for SumUp Brazil
  • Investigate complex fraud cases to identify patterns, process gaps, and internal fraud
  • Centralize police force investigation and relationship management
  • Signal new potential risks and suggest mitigation strategies
  • Participate in the creation and monitoring of indicators related to our products
  • Contribute to forums for product evolution and improvements, providing insights and suggestions from the fraud prevention perspective

Requirements

  • Experience with fraud investigation within the financial market
  • Strong process mapping skills
  • Intermediate English skills
  • Strong SQL skills
  • Knowledge of and/or relationship with market investigations teams
