As a Law Enforcement Specialist, you will play a crucial role in establishing our law enforcement protocols from the ground up.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing a comprehensive fraud investigation framework within SumUp Brazil.
- Analyzing fraud incidents to uncover trends, identify process deficiencies, and detect internal fraud, while mapping out fraudsters and their networks.
- Coordinating with law enforcement agencies for investigations (including filing crime reports and managing potential arrests).
- Identifying emerging risks based on your investigations and proposing effective rules and mitigation strategies.
- Actively engaging in the creation and monitoring of performance indicators related to our products.
- Contributing to discussions on product development and enhancements, offering insights and recommendations from a fraud prevention standpoint.
You will excel in this position if you possess:
- Experience in fraud investigation within the financial sector.
- Strong skills in process mapping.
- At least intermediate proficiency in English.
- Proficiency in SQL.
- Knowledge of and/or connections with market investigation teams.
