Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Specialist to join our team at Amazon Servicos de Varejo do Brasil Ltda. in Brazil. As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for over 5,000 employees in Brazil.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support payroll processing for a large and diverse workforce in Brazil, including complex payroll queries and escalations.
- Collaborate with payroll leaders to maintain an efficient and effective audit process, ensuring compliance with labor legislation and specific payroll regulations (eSocial, DCTFWEB, FGTS digital).
- Participate in efforts to evaluate and redesign Payroll processes to align with the company's rapid growth and commitment to quality, driving payroll improvements for Brazil.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in projects to drive payroll improvements for Brazil, leveraging deep knowledge of labor legislation and specific payroll regulations.
- Act as a partner for M&A and expansion projects, liaising with HR, Tech teams, Finance, Accounting, and others to ensure that best practices are followed and implemented.
- Possess familiarity with payroll software (Peoplesoft, Sharepoint, SAP, and T&A systems) and experience with process transitions.
