Job Summary
">We are seeking a highly skilled Waste Stream Coordinator to join our team. This role is responsible for collecting, processing, and loading solid waste and recyclables for shipment to Port Hueneme, CA on annual shipping vessels.
">About the Role
">This position requires constant physical activity, including bending, lifting, and carrying heavy loads. The successful candidate will have experience operating front-end loaders, skid steers, and articulating forklifts, as well as industrial balers and grinders.
">Key Responsibilities
">- Collect, process, and load solid waste and recyclables for shipment.
- Operate various types of equipment, including front-end loaders, skid steers, and articulating forklifts.
- Perform truck weigh station duties during vessel operations.
- Work in a physically demanding environment, with frequent bending, lifting, and carrying of heavy loads.
Required Skills and Qualifications
">To be successful in this role, you will need:
">- Experience living on remote job sites.
- Equipment operating experience.
- Familiarity with power tools and machinery.
- Able to stand for up to 12 hours daily.
- Must be able to lift safety regulation maximum weights and perform functions requiring repetitive motion.
