Job Title: Immersive Game Environments Designer

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and creative Level Designer to join our team. As a 3D Game Level Designer, you will play a key role in developing interactive settings that players will explore and engage with.

You'll have the opportunity to use your vision and skills to work collaboratively with other designers and artists to develop engaging game levels.

Here's what you can expect from this exciting opportunity:

  • Conception and development of 3D game levels from start to finish.
  • Collaboration with artists and other team members to integrate assets into the gaming environment.
  • Implementation and adjustment of gameplay elements such as interactive objects, puzzles, and enemy encounters to enhance player experience.
  • Level optimization for gameplay balance and performance while considering platform requirements and technical limitations.
  • Mentorship and support of junior designers to help them grow within the team.

Key Responsibilities:

Game Level Design:

  • Design and develop immersive game environments that align with the creative vision and gameplay mechanics.

Collaboration and Teamwork:

  • Work closely with artists and other team members to ensure smooth integration of assets into the gaming environment.

Problem-Solving and Innovation:

  • Implement and adjust gameplay elements to enhance player experience and improve level designs in response to playtesting and team assessments.

Tech Requirements:

  • Consider platform requirements and technical limitations when optimizing levels for gameplay balance and performance.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • 3+ years of experience in game development, focusing on level design.
  • Proficiency with industry-standard 3D modeling and level design software, including Unreal Engine, Unity, or others.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • A creative approach to problem-solving and a drive to push interactive storytelling to its limits.
  • Knowledge of level design concepts for various game genres, including puzzle, adventure, and action games.
  • Proficient English with outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Collaborative spirit and love of teamwork.
  • Experience with scripting or programming languages (e.g., C#, C++, Python) for gameplay implementation is a plus.
