Key Responsibilities
  • Develop robust backend services to integrate data from external sources via APIs and prepare it for reporting purposes.
  • Design and implement API endpoints for seamless data export to other systems or services.
  • Implement robust data validation and testing mechanisms to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Optimize data retrieval and processing for enhanced performance and scalability.
  • Design data models that facilitate effective visualization of emergency services data.
  • Design and implement interactive dashboards and reports using data visualization tools like PowerBI or Tableau.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver data-driven solutions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
  • Effective communication skills in English (joining an international team).
  • 8+ years of experience in software development.
  • Knowledge of data modeling, ETL processes, and SQL.
  • Strong experience in API development and integration.
  • Solid understanding of backend service architecture.
  • Strong knowledge of programming languages such as C#, Java, Python, or JavaScript.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Focused on Quality and acquaintance with dealing with software vulnerabilities (prevention, identification, and remediation).
  • Experience with Agile Software Development practices (Scrum and Kanban preferred).
