Help us drive innovation in thermal power plants by providing technical support for Balance of Plant (BoP) systems.

About the Role

This position requires an experienced engineer to provide expert-level technical support for BoP systems, conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

  • Work closely with plant operators, engineers, and customers to ensure safe and efficient BoP system operations.
  • Develop and implement maintenance strategies and schedules to improve BoP system reliability and availability.
  • Assist in designing and implementing upgrades to enhance BoP system performance and efficiency.
  • Train plant personnel on BoP system operation, maintenance, and safety procedures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Power Engineering, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications in BoP systems are a plus.
  • Proven experience in Balance of Plant (BoP) systems within thermal power plants, focusing on technical support and troubleshooting.
  • In-depth knowledge of BoP system design, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting, with familiarity with industry standards and regulations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to conduct root cause analysis and implement solutions.
  • Proficiency with diagnostic tools, software, and equipment related to BoP systems; intermediate English and basic Spanish.
  • Ability to travel 50-60% to plant locations in Brazil, Argentina, and LATAM for support and training.
