Procurement Specialist

The procurement specialist will oversee the development and execution of strategic procurement plans to source direct materials. This role involves identifying, evaluating, and partnering with local and global suppliers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products at optimal costs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supply Chain Optimization
    • Develop procurement strategies for direct materials to minimize costs and maximize value.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement goals with business objectives.
  • Supplier Development
    • Establish relationships with reliable suppliers to secure raw materials, packaging, and indirect goods.
    • Conduct regular performance reviews to mitigate supply risks and improve overall quality.
  • Cost Management
    • Analyze market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising product quality.
    • Implement efficient procurement processes through digital tools and best practices.
  • Compliance & Risk Management
    • Ensure adherence to company policies and relevant regulations.
    • Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with supplier contracts and transactions.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years in procurement/sourcing, preferably in manufacturing, construction materials, or industrial sectors.
  • Proven track record in managing end-to-end procurement cycles and supplier partnerships.
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and data analytics tools.
  • Languages:
  • Mandatory: Fluency in English.
  • Desirable: Proficiency in Chinese to communicate with HQ and Chinese suppliers.
