The position will be responsible for research and development in the beauty and personal care business segment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand how ethical and legal conduct are related to work.
  • Assist and lead teams to observe these rules and address problematic situations when necessary.
  • Stay aligned with company policies and culture.
  • Identify environmental aspects, impacts, risks, and significant opportunities around activities.
  • Develop cosmetic formulations, support customer-oriented projects through technical and creative skills, and meet local market needs.
  • Responsible for laboratory studies and interpretation of results through methodologies improvement or development, aiming to maximize confidence in findings.
  • Provide timely, accurate technical information through detailed reports, increasing the company's database.
  • Provide technical support to sales and marketing teams, assisting with questions, project planning, customer visits, and training cooperation.
  • Interact with the global technical team, improving relationships between sectors through different forms of communication.
  • Maintain equipment integrity and performance through applicability knowledge, operation, types of analysis, and expected results.
  • Guide interns in daily activities, communicating what should be done, guiding them laboratory norms and conduct, helping them raise knowledge and improve performance.
  • Consolidate acquired technical knowledge through scientific articles publication, congresses, and seminars participation, increasing Company's technical visibility in the market.

Requirements:

  • Graduation in Chemistry and/or Pharmacy.
  • Specialization and/or post-grad degree desirable in the area.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience.
  • Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Fluent English and Spanish skills desirable.
  • Procedures related to the area, safety norms, current regulatory/legislation for laboratory activities, and Personal Care industry.
