Job Summary:

A skilled professional is sought after to work as a server maintenance expert within the infrastructure operations department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and prioritize tasks through a ticketing system and coordinate with team leads.
  • Diagnose and repair hardware and network issues on servers, including testing and replacement of faulty components.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision and handle multiple priorities effectively.

Requirements:

  • At least 3-5 years of IT experience in support roles.
  • 2+ years of experience collaborating with various teams to resolve customer complaints.
  • 1-2 years of experience creating standard operating procedures and knowledge base articles.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally and internationally.
  • Fluency in both English and Portuguese (verbal and written).
  • Ability to lift and move equipment up to 18kg and work in confined spaces or elevated locations while adhering to health and safety guidelines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience with x86 architecture-based systems.
  • Experience with Linux or similar operating systems.
  • Knowledge of network design, protocols, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Understanding of storage devices and scripting languages.
  • Previous experience working in data center environments (racking and stacking equipment, cable management, hot and cold aisle containment).

This role requires strong communication skills in both English and Portuguese, as well as leadership abilities to guide junior team members and coordinate complex tasks with other team members.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for day-to-day incident management of servers, networking equipment, and cabling, and will work non-traditional hours as part of a 24x7 team.
