Seeking an experienced Mine Planning Engineer to support customers with our intuitive open-pit mine planning solution, Micromine Alastri. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in providing technical expertise and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Job Summary:
Mine Planning Engineers are responsible for assisting sales teams during pre-sales demonstrations, trade shows, and promotional events. They develop and maintain long-term customer relationships by creating strategic technical demonstrations and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical Support: Provide expert technical assistance to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to drive business growth and loyalty.
  • Strategic Demonstrations: Design and deliver compelling technical presentations that showcase the value of Micromine Alastri.
  • Training and Development: Deliver training sessions to new and existing software users to ensure they maximize the benefits of the platform.
  • Liaison Role: Collaborate closely with the product development team and software users to inform design decisions and improve user experience.

Requirements:
  • A tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in Open Pit mining.
  • 5-7 years of experience in mine planning and scheduling.
  • Proficiency in mine planning software and ability to learn new technologies quickly.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with professional fluency in English and native fluency in Portuguese.
