Business Intelligence Internship Opportunity

This internship provides a unique chance to contribute to the development of business intelligence solutions and gain a deep understanding of business processes, data sets, and deliverables.

About the Role:

We are looking for an individual who can participate in business-facing meetings to gather requirements, develop a deep understanding of various business processes, data sets, and data deliverables, design, build, deliver, and maintain business intelligence solutions using Snowflake, support the data architect on project portfolio planning while clarifying requirements for the development team, collaborate with a cross-functional data team (business analysts, data engineers, BI developers, etc.), and gain a thorough understanding of the company's data environment, including data sources, systems, and data flows.

Responsibilities:
  • Participate in business-facing meetings to gather requirements.
  • Develop a deep understanding of various business processes, data sets, and data deliverables.
  • Design, build, deliver, and maintain business intelligence solutions using Snowflake.
  • Support the data architect on project portfolio planning while clarifying requirements for the development team.
  • Collaborate with a cross-functional data team (business analysts, data engineers, BI developers, etc.).
  • Gain a thorough understanding of the company's data environment, including data sources, systems, and data flows.
Requirements:
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, proficient in Portuguese and English, able to communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Self-motivated and organized, able to work independently and detail-oriented person.
  • Team-worker, open-minded, and willing to discuss proposed approaches.
  • Capable of prioritizing multiple tasks while achieving deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Powerpoint.
  • Knowledge of Relational and Dimensional modeling techniques.
  • Knowledge of SQL, BI, and data warehouse concepts & terminology (Snowflake environment would be an asset).
