**Job Overview:**

The on-site fellow will guide the Summer Institute participants through the completion of their annual social justice projects.

This is a unique opportunity to collaborate with a dynamic team and make a meaningful impact in the lives of students.

  • Mentor summer institute fellows to help them reach their full potential.
  • Develop and maintain a resource list of cutting-edge curriculum and movement issues.
  • Coordinate and facilitate BQE events virtually and in-person, including faculty retreats and summer institutes.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Familiarity with fields of study within the humanities at the intersections of queer of color scholarship and/or Africana studies.
  • Experience or engagement with community-based research and non-profit work.
  • Knowledge of Google Suite (e.g., Calendar, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Forms, etc.) and Zoom.
  • Ability to facilitate group discussions and deliver public presentations.

**Benefits:**
