Process Engineering Manager

We are seeking a skilled Process Engineering Manager to lead our site's Process Engineering activities.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemical engineering and experience managing teams in hazardous chemical plants. They will be responsible for key elements and activities of the site Process Safety Management program, including calorimetry studies, chemical reaction hazards assessment, pressure relief verifications, HAZOP, LOPA, MAH management etc.

The Process Engineering Manager will lead process design activities in collaboration with the site Project Engineering organization, coordinate kaizen activities to improve safety & efficiency of plant processes, support product localization activities, and serve as the site focal point for new technology deployment.

  • Key responsibilities:
  • Understanding and promoting Lubrizol's Code of Ethics & Compliance
  • Supporting the development of an integrated Process Safety Management system on site
  • Championing high-quality risk analysis using tools such as HAZOP, LOPA, CHAZOP, OBRA, FSS etc.
  • Leading plant process design activities & supporting capital project activity on site
  • Developing and leading projects related to process improvement and new technology deployment

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be results-focused, and have good teamworking skills.
