Leading Software Architect Position

This is a challenging position for a highly skilled software architect to lead the architecture and design of LXD and MicroCloud.
- Develop and implement software architecture for LXD and MicroCloud.
- Mentor and advise colleagues on career progression.
- Develop software applications using Golang and C programming languages.
- Review code produced by other engineers and provide feedback.
- Ensure product security and performance.
- Display technical leadership in Canonical communities.
Requirements:
- Excellent academic track record from high school and university.
- Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Drive and ability to exceed expectations.
- Technical leadership and team motivation, direction, and pace.
- Well-organized and able to deliver on schedule.
- Professional manner when interacting with colleagues and partners.
- Experience with Go, C, storage, networking, and virtualization.
- Concurrent and distributed systems expertise.
- Conscientiousness and attention to detail.
- Professional written and spoken English.
- Experience with Linux (Debian or Ubuntu preferred).
