AI Development Expert

Join ADP's AI platform team to deliver conversational assistants and automation. Build serverless services, low-latency APIs, and agent orchestration capabilities that connect to OpenAI and internal action agents.

You will work with a global cloud human capital management solutions company that has innovative clients who expect scalable API surface areas for a large multi-team codebase.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design modular services and architect backend & APIs.
  • Implement NestJS serverless services and scalable GraphQL schemas/resolvers.
  • Create execution flows, tool/function calling, conversation state & memory models, and provider abstraction layers.
  • Develop serverless services with Handlers & REST interfaces and integrate LLM providers through unified capability interfaces.

To Succeed In This Role:

  • You must be able to model latency, failure modes, and scaling characteristics before coding.
  • Collaborate with AI/ML scientists, security, product, and UX partners to communicate clearly.
