About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Specialist to join our Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO) Startup team. As a Business Development Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and executing business strategies that drive revenue growth and adoption of AWS services among startups.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute business plans to drive revenue growth and adoption of AWS services among startups.
  • Build and maintain relationships with startup executives and developers to understand their business needs and provide solutions that meet those needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product teams, to develop and execute go-to-market strategies that drive awareness and demand for AWS services among startups.
  • Develop and deploy programs that leverage AWS Field teams, as well as technology and consulting partner channels, to drive adoption of AWS services among startups.
  • Work with marketing teams to develop and align digital marketing campaigns to drive awareness and demand for AWS services among startups.
  • Own the GTM strategy and execution for GenAI in the Startup US West region, collaborating with teams in the field, including sales, partners, marketing, and other specialists.
About the Team

The WWSO Startup team is a dynamic and fast-paced team that is dedicated to helping startups scale quickly and cost-effectively on AWS. We are looking for a highly skilled Business Development Specialist who is passionate about helping startups succeed and has a deep understanding of the startup ecosystem.

Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or consulting, with a focus on startups.
  • Experience developing and executing business strategies that drive revenue growth and adoption of cloud services.
  • Strong relationships with startup executives and developers, with a deep understanding of their business needs and pain points.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product teams, to develop and execute go-to-market strategies.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
