This role promotes enhanced collaboration and quality of care by working under the direction of clinical leadership to provide direct patient care associated with clinical licensure and specialty.
Main Responsibilities:- Model treatment approach by utilizing current evidence-based practice and healthcare trends while providing direct patient care.
- Apply research in practice via direct patient care, sharing findings with colleagues and/or professional community, collecting data, and facilitating involvement in performance improvement projects.
- Support the development of clinical competencies, continuing education activities, treatment protocols, and clinical practice guidelines.
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech-Language Pathology.
- At least 2 years of clinical experience and Board Certification.
- Ability to function independently, be flexible, demonstrate personal integrity, and work effectively with staff and patients.
- Capacity to teach clinical skills.
- Skill in monitoring/assessing the performance of self, other individuals, or organizations to make improvements.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification.
