
System Support Specialist

The role of the System Support Expert is to provide top-notch technical support for Network solutions in production. This entails monitoring and validating system performance, performing maintenance activities, handling issues and critical incidents, and ensuring clear communication with internal and external clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform proactive technical/operational tasks on environments under your responsibility, including administration and monitoring of system performance and resources.
- Post-Production Automation (including development of shell scripts).
- Act as the main contact regarding system incidents and availability.
- Track queries on open items originating from or to Operations.
- Perform Problem Diagnosis including debugging of alarms and alerts.
- Collect measures and identify trends that indicate system health and performance.
- Handle outage situations, providing regular updates to clients on the status of any open issues.
- Manage environmental and system changes.
- Conduct operational handover to teammates working on different shifts.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Science/IT/Computing or equivalent.
- Advanced English for speaking.
- Demonstrable experience in Customer Production Operation Support (5-7 years).
- Solid understanding of Linux environment, shell script and monitoring tools.
- Familiarity with commands and tools such as tcpdump, WireShark, SoapUI, etc.
- Working knowledge of Databases and SQL.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
