About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Business Development Manager to join our team in Brazil. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and development in the region.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Identifying and securing new project opportunities, including partnerships with governments, operators, and funders
  • Developing clear agreement structures and operating models based on strong client/partner propositions
  • Establishing and managing consortia to drive and operate river interception projects
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • 15 years of working experience, preferably in an international organization with experience in partnerships and consortia
  • Broad experience in fundraising or sales, as well as experience in both corporate and non-profit sectors
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in business/public administration, international relations, environmental sciences, or a related field
About The Ocean Cleanup Technologies B.V.

We are a non-profit organization dedicated to developing advanced technologies to rid the world's oceans of plastic. Our mission is to design, develop, and deploy cleanup systems to stop plastic from reaching our oceans by intercepting it in rivers.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is R$ 250,000 - R$ 350,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a competitive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.

Location

This role is based in Brazil, with expected start date in 2025.
