Project Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced project manager to lead a project in the Democratic Republic of Congo. The successful candidate will have strong project management skills and experience working in complex environments.

About the Role:

The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of the project, ensuring timely and effective delivery of results. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Developing and implementing project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation;
  2. Mobilizing and managing project teams, including recruiting and training staff as needed;
  3. Ensuring effective communication and coordination with stakeholders, including government officials, local communities, and partners;
  4. Maintaining accurate records and reports, including progress updates, financial reports, and lessons learned;
  5. Identifying and mitigating risks, and developing contingency plans as needed.

**Key Requirements:**

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business administration, international development, or project management;
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in a complex environment;
  • Strong project planning, budgeting, and monitoring and evaluation (M&E) skills;
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
