Tax Planning Senior Manager Job Description

The ideal candidate for this role will be responsible for leading tax planning initiatives, managing special tax projects, and ensuring compliance with global and local tax regulations.

  • Develop and implement tax-efficient strategies to support business growth and financial objectives.
  • Provide tax advice on corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, restructurings, and investments.
  • Support cross-functional programs across the company to ensure tax efficiency.
  • Identify tax-saving opportunities and assess the impact of tax law changes.
  • Oversee tax-related projects, including new products and tax restructurings.
  • Ensure tax policies and strategies support integrity and sustainability of the business model.
  • Partner with Finance, Legal, and leadership teams to align tax planning with overall corporate strategy, ensuring key stakeholders understand the tax impact on business operations.

Requirements

The successful candidate should possess:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Law, Taxation, or related field (Master's or CPA preferred).
  • 5+ years of tax experience in a corporate or consulting environment.
  • Strong knowledge of international and domestic tax laws, transfer pricing, and M&A.
  • Experience with tax technology solutions and data analytics is a plus.
  • Excellent project management, analytical, and communication skills.
