Network Infrastructure Specialist

This team provides global support for network infrastructure, ensuring it is always available and secure.

  • Regional deployment and incident management experience.
  • Project management skills are required.
  • Incident management, change management, problem management & technical troubleshooting.
Main Responsibilities
  • Support the delivery of network services in key areas (WAN/LAN, Audio/Video Conferencing and Security).
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Document solutions developed according to defined rules.
  • Lead and follow-up on mid-size projects and improvement plans.
  • Promote procedures, standards and rules in place and seek opportunities for improvement.
  • Suggest network infrastructure upgrades, modifications and EOL replacements.
  • Ensure project funding is planned.
  • Interact with service managers to understand service level agreements.
  • Conduct risk assessment and develop mitigation plans.
  • Represent network infrastructure services and maintain availability, capacity and reliability.
  • Cooperate with major incident resolution and fulfilment of support tasks.
  • Suggest technology upgrades, modifications and deployments based on business needs.
  • Supervise vendor resources to support and maintain company network operation.
  • Maintain working relationships with stakeholders (IT Operations, Information Security, Local and Global Infrastructure, Business applications).
  • Perform root cause analysis of infrastructure problems and develop resolution plans.
  • Maintain all documentation for deployment, maintenance, upgrades and problem resolution activities.
