Design and Project Lead

As a Mechanical Engineer at a leading corporation, you will play a critical role in planning, overseeing, and directing mechanical projects and appurtenances for construction. You will monitor project progress, ensuring timely completion within quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in the development of technical designs and specifications to meet project needs
- Review and analyze project documents (estimates, design drawings, specifications, and contracts) to identify potential issues
- Complete and manage RFIs, change orders, submittals, and other project documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Facilitate technical decisions aligned with project needs and company policies
- Evaluate and ensure compliance with health and safety standards and report any issues promptly
- Monitor construction materials (traditional and innovative), ensuring quality and compliance with building and fire codes
- Strong understanding of construction procedures, materials, and project management principles to drive successful project outcomes
- Familiarity with building codes, fire codes, and other regulatory standards to ensure compliance
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and construction/project management software to streamline project processes
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills to lead cross-functional teams effectively
- A team player with leadership skills, capable of managing tasks efficiently and prioritizing multiple responsibilities
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering is required, and a licensed engineer is preferred
