Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Team Lead to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading a team of employees and managing day-to-day operations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to motivate and direct a team towards common goals.

You will be working closely with the management team to establish clear expectations and priorities, and will be responsible for ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standard.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate with supervisors to establish clear expectations and priorities
  • Plan and assign tasks to team members
  • Monitor progress and report back to management
  • Identify and implement process improvements

Skills and Qualifications

The following skills and qualifications are required for this role:

  • Manufacturing Experience:
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Leadership Experience:
  • Able to lead a team of employees
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficient in the use of hand tools and basic fabrication tools
  • Able to interpret technical drawings (Blueprints, P&ID's, Electrical Schematics)

Working Conditions

This role requires:

  • Able to stand for long periods of time
  • Able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs./23 kilograms
  • Typical work is in a manufacturing environment or customer's site
Other Requirements

Please note:

  • Awareness of and prior experience with implementing Continuous Improvement (CI) is a plus
  • Experience with Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing is preferred
  • Exposure to loud noises
