Documentation Specialist

This role is for a Documentation Specialist to create and maintain high-quality internal documentation. The ideal candidate will have strong technical acumen combined with exceptional written communication skills, and a working knowledge of Markdown.
The Documentation Specialist will collaborate closely with engineering, product, operations, and support teams to ensure technical knowledge is captured and disseminated effectively across the organization.
The key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring a deep understanding of documentation principles, including structure, readability, and version control, to optimize the quality of content.
- Writing and editing documentation using Markdown, ensuring clarity and conciseness, while maintaining a well-organized structure.
- Implementing and managing Git workflows for documentation versioning and effective collaboration with developers.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 5+ Years of experience in technical writing or technical business analysis.
- Proficiency with Markdown, Confluence, and Git for creating and managing documentation.
- Strong ability to write, structure, and maintain SOPs, internal guides, and system documentation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail and consistency.
