Key Responsibilities:

This role entails teaching classes, preparing content and managing students in school environments following a well-defined pedagogical plan. Additionally, it involves promoting learning experiences based on the aforementioned plan and catering to the special needs of every student.

  • Teach classes, prepare content, and manage students in school environments following a well-defined pedagogical plan.
  • Promote learning experiences based on the pedagogical plan and special needs of every student.
  • Analyze student evolution in the learning process, collecting evidence, and defining actions to improve performance.
  • Develop strategies with coordination to promote improvement and engagement of students.
  • Promote classes and differentiation strategies for students with learning difficulties.
  • Supervise the work of teaching assistants in adapting activities for students with special educational needs.
  • Evaluate safety, observing and guiding students during activities, and interfering when necessary to avoid accidents.
  • Carefully observe children's attitudes and behaviors to identify illnesses and take necessary actions.
  • Report observed behaviors and performance of children to coordinators.
  • Receive students at school entrances and exits, ensuring they are handed over only to authorized personnel.
  • Follow established guidelines and ensure teaching assistants do the same.
Additional Requirements:

This position also requires:

  • Preparing weekly plans at agreed frequencies with coordinators and displaying them in visible places in classrooms.
  • Reviewing weekly plans periodically, considering proposed and accomplished objectives, and re-planning if necessary.
  • Maintaining accurate and complete student records as required by current legislation, district policies, and administrative regulations.
  • Advising students through evidence-based practices, managing conflict situations according to school philosophy.
  • Preparing report cards and presenting them to coordinators, complying with deadlines.
  • Guiding teaching assistants about material for student portfolios and supervising filing.
  • Communicating daily occurrences related to students to coordinators.
  • Sharing relevant information about students with other teachers in classes.
  • Meeting deadlines set by established guidelines.

Requirements for this position include being able to teach classes, prepare content, and manage students in school environments following a well-defined pedagogical plan. This role also requires promoting learning experiences, analyzing student evolution, developing strategies, and more.
