Senior Project Development Engineer

You will lead the overall sales development process for Steam Turbine Mods & Ups Projects. Your key responsibilities include opportunity discovery and qualification, strategy setting and development, identifying and influencing key decision makers, and successfully navigating complex internal and external selling environments.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop a compelling value proposition aligned with company objectives
  • Forecast M&U business in the assigned region using Salesforce funnel, ensuring accuracy and quality
  • SUPPORT THE SALES TEAM IN FLEET ANALYSIS, OPPORTUNITY SEARCH, BUSINESS CASE DEVELOPMENT, WORKSHOPS, AND SALESFORCE CLEANUP
  • Ensure smooth handover to commercial and execution teams for new projects, including final purchase order reviews and kickoff meetings
  • Assess technical and commercial feasibility of OEM opportunities with PCC support
  • Meet sales, booking, and earning objectives while representing customer needs, managing expenses within company guidelines
  • Monitor market activity and trends, including competitors, providing feedback and supporting industry tradeshows locally and globally

About You:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering
  • Experience in rotating equipment sales or capital project business development
  • Willingness to travel domestically or internationally
  • Knowledge of industrial steam turbines, performance, and applications
  • Ability to collaborate across diverse and international teams
  • Self-motivated with high energy and business acumen
  • Experience with Siemens' Industrial Steam Turbine models is a plus
