Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Statutory Accounting professional to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing local statutory accounting books and financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local regulations.

This role requires excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. The ideal candidate will have experience in accounting, specifically in local books preparation and/or audit supports.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare local statutory accounting books and financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local regulations.
  • Support and execute related filings.
  • Assist in gathering and organizing financial and statistical information requested by local regulatory authorities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to collect and validate data required for statutory reporting.
  • Coordinate with the Tax Department to support the preparation of tax-related information aligned with statutory financials.
  • Provide support during external audits by preparing documentation, responding to auditor queries, and helping ensure timely completion of audit deliverables.
  • Maintain and monitor internal controls related to statutory accounting and reporting processes, ensuring compliance with company policies and local standards.
  • Stay informed about changes in local accounting and regulatory requirements, and assist in assessing their impact on statutory reporting obligations.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in local books preparation and/or audit supports.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Basic level of Excel knowledge, including pivot tables.
  • Intermediate English language proficiency.
  • SAP/S4H knowledge is a plus.
