Expert Indirect Tax Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Indirect Tax Leader to lead tax compliance and advisory functions across Latin America.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for managing indirect taxes, partnering with cross-functional teams, and communicating complex tax issues in business terms.
Key Responsibilities:- Integrate a new ERP solution, set up products, and validate tax services for purchase orders.
- Analyze TES codes for specific transactions and assist with tax aspects of new SKU registrations.
- Validate tax services for purchase orders, provide information related to tax payments, and ensure timely payment to governmental agencies.
- Oversee indirect tax compliance and risk mitigation in Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, and other South American countries.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or related field (Master's, CPA, or JD/LLM a plus).
- 5+ years of indirect tax experience, with a focus on manufacturing and/or distribution sectors.
- Strong working knowledge of indirect tax regimes in Mexico and South American countries, particularly Brazil.
- Experience handling indirect tax issues in multi-jurisdictional supply chains, intercompany billing, and third-party logistics scenarios.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and tax engines.
- Demonstrated ability to partner with cross-functional teams and communicate complex tax issues in business terms.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and project management skills.
