Job Description

We are seeking an experienced data migration specialist to join our team. As a data migration specialist, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and managing end-to-end data migration projects, including extraction, transformation, loading, and validation.


Responsibilities
  • Design and run ETL processes to move and transform data across Salesforce, ERP, and external databases.
  • Write and optimize complex SQL and SOQL queries for data validation, migration, and reconciliation.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts (APEX, Python, Shell, PowerShell, or similar) for data processing, cleansing, and quality checks.
  • Perform data profiling, mapping, and transformation to meet business and technical requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve migration issues such as data mismatches, performance bottlenecks, and integrity errors.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have the following skills and qualifications:


Technical Requirements
  • 5+ years of direct experience in data migration, ETL, or database engineering roles.
  • Strong technical expertise in relational databases (Salesforce, Oracle, SQL Server, or similar).
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL (query optimization, joins, stored procedures).
  • Practical experience with Salesforce SOQL, APEX, and Salesforce data model.
  • Familiarity with ETL tools, APIs, and bulk data processing.
