Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Manager to join our team at Yinson. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the organization conforms to ISO, ISM, ISPS, and Flag State requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Audit and Compliance: Plan and execute internal and external audit programs to ensure the organization meets regulatory and statutory requirements.
  2. Contractor Management: Develop and implement processes to ensure contractors are risk-assessed, selected, qualified, and performance-managed to meet organizational requirements.
  3. Risk Management: Implement and maintain a risk management framework to identify, monitor, and manage project and operational risks effectively.
  4. Non-Conforming Outputs: Develop and implement a process to identify, evaluate, and address non-conforming outputs within 30 days of issuance.
  5. Continual Improvement: Establish a framework to capture innovative ideas, share knowledge, and leverage insights from past experiences to enhance future performance.
  6. Customer Satisfaction: Assess and manage customer satisfaction levels to ensure internal and external customer expectations are met, maintaining a rolling average NPS score of +30.
  7. Competency and Capability: Develop and maintain a competency and capability skills matrix to ensure the global Quality Assurance team has the necessary competencies and capabilities to achieve its goals and objectives.
  8. Legal and Other Requirements: Ensure the organization consistently complies with its legal and other requirements.
  9. Core Business Processes: Continuously optimize core business processes for time, cost, and quality.
  10. Strategic Planning: Review, update, and submit the QA Strategic plan annually by the 30th of November to reflect emerging needs.
  11. Strategy Execution: Ensure direct reports are making commitments aligned with department goals and success measures.
  12. Performance Management: Coach, counsel, and performance manage direct reports to ensure they achieve their goals and measures of success.
  13. Resource Planning: Plan and schedule human resources to meet quality assurance goals and measures of success.
  14. On Time and On Budget: Ensure core business processes are in place and effective for delivering products and services on time and within budget.
Qualifications
  • Qualification in Science or Engineering.
  • Lead Auditor qualified in ISO 9001, 45001, and Auditor qualified in ISM and ISPS.
  • Root Cause Analysis certification (Desirable).
  • Training and Assessment qualification at Level 4 or higher is preferred.
Skills and Experience
  • 15 years heavy industry experience.
  • Experience in Marine/Offshore Oil and Gas environments (Desirable).
