**Job Title:** Nordic Winter Resort Ambassador
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Nordic Winter Resort Ambassador. This role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work in harsh winter weather conditions.
Responsibilities:- Set up, maintenance and tear down of crowd control gates and signs.
- Maintain entry/exit area.
- Provide exceptional guest service while checking for valid trail passes.
- Effectively communicate with guests while organizing large crowds.
- Assist with ticket/pass issues and report fraud.
- Assist in snow and ice removal wherever and whenever necessary.
- Demonstrate success in safety awareness.
- Maintain a safe work environment.
- Secondary Function: Assist indoor staff, especially in the afternoons. This includes selling tickets, selling retail, renting equipment to guests, ski waxing, equipment repair, and other duties as needed.
- Assist in monitoring guest access to the Lodge in compliance with OHA guidelines for indoor spaces.
- Assist in training new attendants and other employees who cover breaks.
- Assist with special events as directed by the supervisor.
- Ability to read, write and follow directions.
- Able to remain standing outside in all weather conditions.
- Frequent shoveling, lifting, pulling, pushing, and bending.
