Job Title: Strategic Foreign Exchange Manager

About the Job:

Cargill is a leading provider of risk management solutions for global businesses. We are seeking an experienced and skilled Foreign Exchange Advisor to lead our foreign exchange risk analysis and insight function.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert knowledge and thought leadership on foreign exchange risk management best practices.
  • Develop and implement effective risk mitigation strategies to minimize losses and maximize returns.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of FX processes and frameworks globally.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to monitor FX risk(s) and ensure completeness of all complex financial reporting within deadlines.
  • Lead in regional risk assessments ensuring alignment with global policies, processes, and standards.
  • Communicate key strategy messages to the team and share knowledge for ongoing development.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of six years of related work experience.
  • Strong knowledge within foreign exchange practices.
  • Fluency in English.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of financial risk management and proven ability to identify and quantify risks.
  • Experience in process design, transformational projects, and implementation of process improvements.
  • Good knowledge in commodities and derivatives.
  • US GAAP accounting understanding to evaluate financial risks.
