Job Title: APO Senior Business Analyst

The role of a senior business analyst is pivotal in driving the Chemical Supply Chain business forward within the Supply & Operations Planning area. As a seasoned professional, you will be responsible for designing, supporting, and implementing solutions that cater to the needs of this critical business function.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Resolve complex issues, design innovative solutions, and implement improvements for SAP APO DP solutions.
  2. Demonstrate strong business process knowledge of production planning and scheduling processes.
  3. Execute and test appropriate configurations related to the SAP APO module.
  4. Develop clear, concise functional specifications for the development team.
  5. Become thoroughly familiar with the existing SAP APO design and enhancements.
  6. Possess a solid understanding of master data requirements and setup that support these processes and solutions.
  7. Demonstrate knowledge of integration points between SAP APO and other systems.
  8. Collaborate with stakeholders to define implementation timelines and ensure successful project delivery.
  9. Ensure comprehensive coverage, execution, and remediation of test activities (e.g., unit, integration, user acceptance).
  10. Spearhead the development and delivery of training assets.
  11. Support the deployment of production systems and provide post-production support.
Requirements:
  • Proven expertise in SAP APO (DP, CIF) solution implementation, with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
  • Knowledge of SAP GATP and IBP modules.
  • Familiarity with SD/MM/PP modules of SAP ECC.
  • Experience with SAP BW.
  • Ability to debug ABAP code.
  • English fluency is required, as this position involves working as part of a global team.
Desirable Skills:
  • Experience writing functional specifications for custom enhancements and projects.
  • Skill in developing and delivering training assets.
  • Ability to support the deployment of production systems and provide post-production support.
