As a senior underwriter, you will play a key role in developing new business solutions for complex risks. Joining our team as a Senior Casualty and Environmental Underwriter means being part of a dynamic team that is constantly looking to innovate and improve.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement underwriting strategies for large and complex casualty accounts on General Liability, Environmental and CPI accounts;
  • Collaborate with underwriters, brokers and clients to identify opportunities for profitable growth and develop creative solutions for complex risks;
  • Support the development of new products, including those related to AIG's global operations;

As a senior member of the team, you will be responsible for:

  • Setting high standards of customer service and ensuring that all interactions with brokers and clients are professional and courteous;
  • Providing guidance, mentoring and training to less-experienced underwriters and supporting them in building their broker networks;
  • Attending industry events and conferences to stay up-to-date with market trends and best practices;
Requirements
  • Solid previous experience in casualty and environmental underwriting;
  • Advanced English and Spanish language skills;
  • Commercial and technical skills, project management expertise; preferred graduation in Engineering or Law.
