Job Title: Global Logistics Coordinator

As a key member of our Special Cargo Department, your mission will be to provide customized solutions and exceptional service to clients with complex shipping requests. You will work closely with the sales team to identify market opportunities and develop strategies to improve commercial performance.

Responsibilities
  • Market monitoring and analysis, including research and statistics to inform business decisions.
  • Submission of regular reports on performance indicators to manager to ensure accountability and transparency.
  • Identification of commercial market opportunities and development of strategies to improve market share through data-driven decision making.
  • Contribution to sales budgeting process and analysis of sales results against budget to optimize resource allocation.
  • Participation in establishing Commercial actions plan and ensuring agency sales segmentation is correct and up-to-date to maximize revenue potential.
  • Support for sales team on dedicated portfolio of customers, follow-up on quotations and their status to ensure timely delivery of services.
  • Contribution to dispute resolution and liaison with Pricers (Freight & DDSM claims) to resolve customer issues efficiently.
  • Organisation of visits to local branches as key contact for agents and main customers to build relationships and identify new business opportunities.

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess excellent problem-solving skills, an analytical mindset, and the ability to use data to drive decision making. Fluency in English is mandatory, with fluency in Portuguese and/or French also being appreciated. Professional proficiency in Excel and MS Office is required.

Requirements
  • Currently finishing first year of a master's degree in a Business School (M1/+4 years)
  • First experience in shipping business or logistics position an advantage
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills, customer-oriented approach with conflict resolution skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical mindset with ability to use data to drive decision making
