Strategic Supply Chain Professional – Surge Operations

We are seeking an experienced supply operations professional to lead our surge operations team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain strategy, product operations, or logistics planning.
Main Responsibilities:- Surge Logic Development: Build and refine the logic that powers surge activation across restaurant-level, zone-level, and event-based triggers.
- Collaboration with Product and Business Intelligence Teams: Work with product and business intelligence teams to define surge eligibility rules, thresholds, and automation opportunities.
- System Performance Monitoring: Evaluate system performance to ensure surge logic is correctly balancing cost, availability, and service quality.
- Edge Case Identification: Identify edge cases and problem patterns across markets and develop systematic response models.
- Industry Benchmarking: Research industry practices and propose improvements to the current surge framework.
- Operational Feedback Liaison: Collaborate with regional and city leads to gather operational feedback and translate it into product requirements.
- Documentation and Dashboard Development: Document standard operating procedures (SOPs) and build dashboards/tools to track surge effectiveness and fleet responsiveness over time.
- Experience: 3–5 years in supply/ops strategy, product ops, or logistics planning, preferably in food delivery, ride-hailing, or Q-commerce industries.
- Proven Track Record: Proven experience in designing or optimizing operational frameworks, not just running them.
- Analytical and Systems Thinking Skills: Strong analytical and systems thinking skills, with comfort working with data dashboards and basic product flows.
- Feedback Synthesis: Ability to synthesize on-ground feedback into scalable SOPs and product recommendations.
