Cost Management Professional

 

We seek a highly skilled Cost Management Professional to assist in completing month-end closing tasks, managing inventory and cost calculation using monthly average cost methodology.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the completion of month-end closing tasks, including freight cost and custom duties allocation and cost calculation using monthly average cost methodology.
  • Manage inventory in and out processes, collaborating with business teams to ensure physical inventory aligns with bookkeeping records.
  • Coordinate physical inventory counts.
  • Negotiate settlements with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) on a timely basis, ensuring accurate and complete final settlement, and manage cost accrual based on results.
  • Provide various reports related to cost and inventory to local business teams.
  • Support ERP implementation for cost modules.
  • Collaborate with finance teams to complete ad-hoc projects and data reports as needed.

 

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Advanced English proficiency mandatory.
  • At least 5 years of experience in inventory and cost management or comparable roles and knowledge of computerized accounting systems – Oracle.
  • Strong commitment to commercial and local accounting practices, familiar with SPED inventory sections.
  • Able to negotiate with OEMs, dealing with complex settlement issues and process automation.
  • Proficient in MS Office Applications, particularly Excel.
  • Desirable Chinese language skills.
  • Strong learning ability, communication, and execution skills.
  • Strong sense of responsibility and urgency.
