Electronics Operator Job Description

We are seeking an experienced electronics operator to join our team in a production environment. This role involves operating and maintaining complex equipment and systems, ensuring high quality and safety standards.

About the Role

As an electronics operator, you will be working independently to operate and maintain equipment and systems using your technical skills to improve line and system performance. You will work closely with coaches to execute standard work processes on your equipment, following autonomous maintenance (AM) and progressive maintenance (PM) standards.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Operating machines with coaching and support from experienced colleagues
  • Maintaining safety and quality standards for operating equipment and systems
  • Collaborating well in a diverse work environment and contributing to a positive team culture
  • Executing installation and maintenance tasks, including electrical panels, wiring, lighting, fuses, automation, and labeling, using technical drawings, catalogs, and internal specifications
  • Completing service orders accurately to maintain up-to-date records and enable proper cost allocation
  • Requesting materials and electronic components from the warehouse using the appropriate system/form
  • Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, including machines, benches, toolboxes, and surrounding areas
  • Reporting hazards to management and taking steps to mitigate risks
  • Identifying risk behaviors and reporting them to management
  • Reporting injuries to immediate supervisors and taking necessary action to prevent future incidents

In addition, you will be responsible for performing preventative, corrective, and predictive maintenance services, respecting quality and food safety concepts.

This role is part of a larger production environment, where we produce and distribute products to meet customer needs. As an electronics operator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of our products.
