System Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to design, implement, and manage Linux system infrastructure.

  • Design, implement, and manage Linux system infrastructure, primarily Red Hat and Oracle Linux, ensuring scalability and reliability.
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize Ansible playbooks and roles for configuration management and deployment automation, streamlining processes and improving efficiency.
  • Utilize Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) to manage enterprise-wide automation strategies, promoting consistency and reducing complexity.
  • Perform advanced Linux patching, security updates, and OS hardening, maintaining the highest level of system security.
  • Write and maintain Bash scripts for automation and system maintenance tasks, enhancing system reliability and performance.
  • Administer and support Red Hat Satellite for system provisioning, patching, and lifecycle management, ensuring seamless system operations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex Linux system issues in a timely manner, minimizing downtime and maximizing system availability.
  • Collaborate with DevOps, application, and security teams to ensure consistent environments and optimal system performance.
  • Manage source code and configuration using GIT repositories, facilitating efficient collaboration and version control.
  • Monitor system performance, reliability, and security using industry-standard tools, providing real-time insights and proactive issue resolution.

Required qualifications include 5+ years of experience in Linux System Administration, strong proficiency in Ansible, and hands-on experience with Ansible Automation Platform. Preferred qualifications include Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) or equivalent certification, experience with other scripting languages such as Python or Perl, familiarity with configuration management, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring tools, and exposure to cloud environments (AWS, Azure) with Linux workloads.
