Senior Data Strategist

We are seeking a senior-level data scientist to work as a consultant in our office. This role will have a high impact on our organization as we rapidly expand our data science practice globally.

A successful candidate in this role will guide data-driven investment decision making and improve outcomes through improved end-to-end machine learning model development and deployment.

The ideal candidate is motivated to work on new projects and excited to deliver novel solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and validate machine learning models using structured and unstructured data sources
  • Work with business stakeholders to interpret model results and refine features
  • Collaborate with data engineering to optimize pipelines for data transformation, ingestion, and model deployment
  • Translate complex findings into clear insights for stakeholders through dashboards, reports, and presentations
  • Ensure model interpretability and adherence to ethical AI practices

Must Have Skills:

  • Python (for ML, Pandas, PyTorch)
  • SQL (Advanced skills including joins, aggregation, window functions, CTEs)
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong grasp of statistics

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Experience working with Financial Services, Business Teams, or Operations at a SaaS company
  • Experience evaluating product metrics
  • Experience in end-to-end machine learning model development and deployment
  • Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Advanced degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
