About the Team:

The Guided Buying team is responsible for developing and maintaining the cloud-based Guided Buying application. This application enables users to perform daily searches and purchases while adhering to corporate policies and approvals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain Java code in the Guided Buying microservice.
  • Collaborate with customer support and engineers to reproduce customer issues, gather system logs, and investigate problems.
  • Maintain the Guided Buying backend database using HANA databases.
  • Work closely with a large engineering team to ensure timely delivery of high-quality tasks.
  • Apply agile development practices, architecture governance, and quality-by-design principles.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Hands-on experience in Java and web application development.
  • Experience with CI/CD tooling and Git/GitHub workflows.
  • Understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs) and generative AI frameworks.
  • Familiarity with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and automated testing frameworks.
