Job Title: Tax and Financial Planning Specialist

The primary responsibility of this role is to provide tax planning expertise and support across the organization. This includes leading the development and implementation of an effective tax strategy that aligns with the company's overall business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive tax planning strategy to optimize tax efficiency and minimize liabilities
  • Conduct thorough analysis of financial data to identify opportunities for tax savings and planning
  • Stay up-to-date on changes in tax laws, regulations, and incentives, evaluating their impact on the business and providing expert guidance as necessary
  • Collaborate closely with the accounting, finance, and legal teams to ensure alignment and effective communication
  • Prepare detailed tax planning recommendations and proposals, presenting them to senior leadership for approval
  • Coordinate the implementation of approved tax planning strategies, ensuring proper documentation and execution
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, with specialization in Tax required
  • Fluent English language skills, with proficiency in Portuguese and Spanish a plus
  • Proven experience in tax planning and compliance, preferably in a multinational environment
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to communicate complex ideas effectively
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented individual, with strong project management skills
